Meet Frankie

This guy came into my life when I was a lost 22 year old. At the time, he was a lost and scared four year old. Together, we found confidence and joy and have been inseparable ever since. This horse went from being a bolting, unpredictable, rocket ship to settling into a steady, smart and experienced trail horse. We have ridden national parks, galloped next to the ocean, gone on pack trips and survived crazy, cliffy trails - and I have always known I can trust his judgment and choices. While being a talented athlete, his personality is that of a sweet golden retriever, he wants to be friends with everybody and is a bit of a social butterfly. The best rides though, are the ones at the end of the day when we head out from the barn in shorts and a halter, without a saddle, and watch the sun go down. I am so grateful he came into my life and that together we have grown and developed a deep sense of trust and confidence. He is a daily inspiration for my art and life, and so I thought it only fitting to devote the final Horse A Day to him.
