Tory's story:

Tory is a 32-year-old quarter horse / paint gelding, and he is an absolute treasure! He’s my first horse, and he was a bit of a rescue. His owner lost her job and was going to put him down, and I was able to take him on. We hit it off right away and in the time we’ve been together, we have participated in a Christmas parade, done a photoshoot for a real-estate agent selling horse property and a woman’s pregnancy photos, been on countless trail rides, and have had a lot of walks and grazing and hang out time together. He’s also given so many kids their first ride and has been a companion and confidence-builder for insecure horses on the trail. Around the ranch, he is known as the zen master and wonder horse, and every day as we walk around the ranch, he checks in with the other boarders to see if they might have a cookie or carrot for him. He is beloved by all who know him, and I love him more than words can say. I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing horse to be my first horse and to teach me so much about horses and life!
