The Holiday Home Gift Set

This is the whole table. The Night Ride platter for the cookies, three porcelain mugs for the people who arrive early, a set of Christmas cards for the people who couldn't make it, and my wooden puzzle for the slow afternoon after everyone has eaten too much. It's for the friend who hosts every year, or for your own house, if you've earned it.

The mugs and the cards share their paintings, so Bright Star and Horse and Star end up on the table and on the mantel.

What's inside:

• Night Ride Porcelain Platter: an 8 x 14 inch oval with a raised rim, painted with Fast Rider under a sky full of stars
• Bright Star, Horse & Star and Stardust Porcelain Coffee Cups: fine porcelain bone china, 400 ml each
• Christmas Cards: three 5 x 7 cards on watercolor paper with gold foil stars and gold-lined envelopes, one each of Horse and Star, Bright Star and Snowy Ride
• Limited Edition Artwork Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle: 250 wooden pieces made in England by Wentworth, with little horses, horseshoes and saddles hidden among them

Bought on their own, these pieces come to $346.
