I am so thrilled we get to create a beautiful piece of art together!

Your piece has been such a joy to work on. Thank you for including me and my work as a part of your story, I am honored.

Just to recap, this is a piece for you and Jeff. In the style of The Herd, with a crescent moon and wings. My intent was to capture all the joy and love present in a loving relationship, and create something that would be special and an investment for generations to come. It is 5x7 feet and the size is just so great. I am including an image with my dog, to give you a sense of the size. Look closely in the video and you’ll see all the gold and white stars in the sky. It’s an incredibly multi layered piece. You are welcome to name it whatever you like, but for now, I named it “Flying."

Shipping + Handling

To give you a sense, shipping a piece this large typically requires a custom built wood crate plus associated shipping costs. In my experience, these charges land between $1200 on the low end and $2400+ on the higher end. However, we have a work around since you are located in San Diego!

The exciting news is that we are eight months pregnant! And, the other useful piece of info is that my husband's sister lives in SD. He has offered to drive your piece down and see his sister for a night before our baby arrives in early August. Accordingly, all we need to do is rent a UHAUL (the piece is too large for a standard truck) and cover his gas and return cost. I have included this cost in your total charge below. The total for these shipping and handling expenses is $650 at cost. I wish I was able to be there for the handoff! But hopefully, we get to meet in person soon. 

We just need to coordinate which weekend he can head down on. The sooner, the better, as it would be better if he is home, should our baby decide to make an early arrival :)

Your breakdown:

50% deposit: $6000 (paid)

50% final payment: $6000, due before final shipment

Shipping: $650, included in final payment total
